Applying lash serum is actually a pretty simple and straightforward process. However, considering that you may not have done this before, we have prepared a step-by-step guide on how to properly apply lash serum for you to achieve the best results when using your lash serum.
1. Clean your face and remove any makeup on your eye area
Ensure that your face is clean and dry before applying the lash serum. This prevents any makeup from mixing with and contaminating the lash serum.
2. Apply to the upper lash line
When applying the serum on your upper lash line, ensure that the tip of the serum brush touches the roots of your lash hairs. This extremely crucial step helps you achieve the best results with your lash serum, but be careful not to get the serum in your eye.
Lash serum is highly concentrated and one dip is sufficient for both eyelashes. Dipping more than once is wasteful and increases the risk of the serum getting into your eyes. If it gets into your eyes, wash it under water, as you would for other cosmetic products.
3. Put a thin line of serum along the bottom lashes
Use the brush to apply the serum from the outer to inner corner. Avoid putting too much serum as it may enter your eyes and irritate them.
4. Wait for it to dry before putting on mascara or other makeup products
The lash serum should dry up in about 2 to 4 minutes, but try to wait for at least 5 minutes. Once it is dry, you can carry on with your regular routine.
5. Be consistent
We have been emphasizing the importance of consistency. Skipping days will not cause any harm to your lashes, but it will cause the lash hair to grow slower. To ensure the best results possible, you should apply your lash serum every day. We recommend applying your lash serum first thing in the morning when you wake up, and at night right before you sleep.
The most important thing here is consistency – remember to apply the serum twice a day for the best results! On average, you should see the results in 4 to 6 weeks, so this is a long-term game with your eyelashes.
